Tidal Convergence _ <The First Wave> Group Exhibition
This structural composition reflects the story of this abandoned shipyard in Geoje, South Korea. This city has been gradually emptied out because of the declining shipbuilding industry, and the exhibition site is one of the closed shipyards. At the same time a new generation who grew up in this city has been working on bringing new cultural movements into this city. Inspired by this crossing existence, this composition has two different structures: one goes downward and one goes upward. Two structures exist in two different shipyard buildings, but at one viewpoint they can be seen together through an old door.
