'Robot Architecture Archetype' is a robot architectural infrastructure project supporting the coexistence of humans and robots in a highly densified city. Compared to the transition of physical urban spaces that happened in the last 30 years caused by the implementation of computers, the change of the next 30 years caused by the robots is expected to be more radical: a wide-scale range of artificial intelligence robots will actively roam around urban environments in high density. The conventional infrastructure should be recomposed, renovated, or evolved to meet the new demands.

The 'Robot Architecture Archetype' project aims to create an archetype that could inspire a new generation of architects, urban planners, and related professionals. Using the robot ‘SPOT’ from Boston Dynamics, the first architectural/infrastructural archetype has developed. The archetype was exhibited on ZER01NE day by Hyundai Motors Group in October 2022. The archetype consists of seven different new architectural systems, including an auto-robot calibration floor and an architectural robot controlled by autonomous robots.

The consecutive models are in development with Hyundai Motors Group and KIA Motors. The team has finished an application for US provisional patents for its technology.
